Issuance of Notice to Bargain

Issuance of Notice to Bargain / Émission de l'avis de négocier

Sisters, Brothers and Friends,

Today the Union of Taxation Employees-Public Service Alliance of Canada (UTE-PSAC) has served notice to begin bargaining with the Canada Revenue Agency(CRA) on behalf of 31,000 members across the country. This marks the first step in the collective agreement negotiation process.

Our Bargaining Committee will be meeting at the end of July to review the demands that have been put forward by the locals and members, and our team will be chosen.  Once our demands have been assembled, they will be given to our negotiator who will make contact with the employer.

From coast to coast, from Contact Centres to Tax Services Offices and National Verification and Collection Centres, to Tax Centres , members are expecting the employer to come to the table to negotiate a fair contract that reflects the current working climate and acknowledges work/life balance.

Our current collective agreement expires on October 31, 2025.

We will be keeping you up to date with our progress through this process.

In Solidarity,

Adam Jackson
2nd National Vice President
