Re: Involvement in Political Activities

Although you have received this information via an e-mail I have been requested by the Political Action Committee to re-issue it in Bulletin format for wider circulation.

Please refer to the attached document entitled “Involvement in Political Activities as a Public Servant”.  The UTE Political Action Committee (PAC) highly recommends that each and every member seek approval from the employer before engaging in any of the listed political activities.If the approval is denied by the employer, we suggest  that you contact your local president immediately with the full details of the activities and the denial.  In the case of denials that are reported we ask that the local presidents also advise their RVP and the Chair of the PAC with the details.  Your co-operation and wide distribution of this Bulletin would be appreciated.
