Re:  Executive Council Meeting/Presidents’ Conference/Call Centre Meeting


The referred meetings will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 101 Lyon Street, Ottawa as follows: 

  • Council Meeting : 

    Arrive  March 31
    Meet April 1-2   9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pinnacle Room, Penthouse Level
    Meet April 7   9 a.m. to noon Ballroom "A" – Lower level
    Depart  April 7  after noon

Council Members, please send your reports, motions, agenda items, and supporting documentation by no later than Wednesday, March 12 to Pierrette Labrie at Labriep@ute- sei.org.

  • Presidents’ Conference : 

    Arrive  April 2
    Meet April 3   Regional Caucus in the morning
    Meet April 3 1:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ballroom "A & B" - Lower level.
    Meet April 4-5 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. same location.
    Depart  April 6  unless staying for the Call Centre meeting

    Local Presidents, please send your reports, *motions, agenda items, and supporting   documentation by no later than Wednesday, March 19 to Pierrette Labrie.

  • Call Centre Meeting :

    Arrive April 5 person who works in Call Centre
    Meet April 6  9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ballroom "A" - Lower level
    Depart  April 7 

Hotel reservations have been made at the Crowne Plaza. For any changes with your reservations, please contact Sister Pierrette Labrie at (613) 235-6704.

*OBSERVERS
Locals who wish to bring observer(s) to the Presidents’ Conference are required to provide the name(s) directly to Sister Labrie by March 1st, 2008.  Reservation requests received after this date will be subject to space availability.

An advance cheque will be mailed to you on a separate cover.  All other monies owed will be paid at the conference if an expense claim is submitted prior to 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 4.  For claims received after that deadline, a cheque will follow in the mail.

You are reminded that the Presidents’ Conference ends at 5:00 on Saturday.  All delegates are required to stay until the official adjournment.  Any early departures that are not approved by the President or Vice-President responsible for finance may result in the loss of per diem.

Also please be reminded that all UTE events are scent free.
