Brother Dickinson was awarded Life Membership in 1991.
Brother Dickinson started working for Revenue Canada Taxation November 1st, 1965.
Art became involved with the Hamilton Local after attending a meeting where Claude Edwards, the National President of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), stressed the importance of the Union and what we wanted to achieve. Started as a Steward and over time also held the positions of Hamilton Local Treasurer, Vice President and President. Elected Regional Vice-President for Southwestern Ontario (Hamilton, St. Catharines, London, Windsor and Kitchener) in 1987and held this position until retirement.
He received the Service Award from the PSAC signed by National President, Daryl D. Bean and in 1991 received the Award of Merit and the National Officers Certificate from UTE.
Art Dickinson passed away on October 18, 2016.
