Vancouver is home to many sporting events. We are home to the BC Lions football team, Vancouver Canucks NHL hockey team, Vancouver Giants Major junior hockey, Burnaby Express Tier 2 Junior hockey, the Whitecaps soccer (men’s or women’s) team and the Vancouver Canadians baseball team among other forms of sports. Playland

Playland is open on weekends from April to June and then it is open seven days a week until mid August (start of the Pacific National Exhibition). Sightseeing Events

Stanley Park - (North foot of Georgia Street) Stanley Park is recognized around the globe as one of the great parks of the world. Stanley Park is an evergreen oasis of 400 hectares (1,000 acres) close to the downtown core. During the summer, you can “dance at dusk” at Ceperley Meadow, see local artists’ work at Painters’ Circle, and enjoy outdoor theatre with Theatre Under the Stars at Malkin Bowl.

Family attractions include the Children's’ Farmyard, Miniature Train, Vancouver Aquarium, Second Beach Pool and the water park at Lumbermen’s Arch. Take a ride on the Horse & Carriage Ride or the free Shuttle Bus or rent a bike. Also, there is fine dining, gardens, and famous historical landmarks such as Prospect Point, the Lost Lagoon, etc.
