Daily Convention HighlightsFriday, July 18, 2008The General Resolutions Committee was first on the agenda. Resolution 363 – Non-Smokers was voted on via a secret ballot and was defeated. Resolution 343 was carried and there will be three Regional Health and Safety Conferences before the next Convention. Resolution 333 was also carried and there will be a National EAP Conference before our next triennial Convention in 2011. Resolutions 320 and 336 were defeated. All the resolutions of concurrence of the Bargaining Committee were carried.
