National Day of Mourning

April 28, 2006, has been designated as the National Day of Mourning in remembrance of all workers killed or injured at work. In view of this, we would ask that you take a few moments around 11:00 a.m., on that day, to remember those workers, and to reflect on the importance of safety in the workplace.

The Canada Revenue Agency and its Unions are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. To do this effectively, we need your co-operation and support in working safely, and in helping to identify and correct potential hazards before accidents occur.

By working together, we will all contribute to a safer and healthier work environment.
