PRESIDENT’S FOLLOW UP ITEMS

EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

· My understanding is that the PIPSC challenge against the CCRA Staffing is still tied up in procedural issues.

· A letter was sent to the QFL expressing our condolences on the dealth of Louis Laberge a great unionist from the province of Quebec.

· Stephanie Copeland, Mike and myself had a meeting with the CCRA regarding establishing a list of designated employees.  We have requested from the Agency the full rationale for each request, as well as, the organization charts that go with each request. 

· A reminder e-mail was sent to all locals to advise them of the up coming committee elections at the President’s Conference.
