The Committee has not met since my last report.
A meeting with the Commissioner, A/C of Human Resources, Sister Bannon and me was held in Ottawa on March 26/07. This was to do with delegations of authority for surplus letters in the RJO process. We received a commitment this would be reviewed and they would get to us. As of the writing of this report that has not occurred.
The National President and the Committee Chair continue to get updated on WFA situations and the applicable RVPs are notified as soon as possible. At this point there are still well over 1000 UTE members in affected status.
The Committee would like to welcome Brother Adam Jackson to the Committee, who was the successful candidate elected to represent TSOs on the Committee.
