ACS Sub Committee Report
March 2007

A meeting was held on Feb 14th, 2007 to go over the anomalies related to the new Short Format Work descriptions.  A summary of that meeting was provided to council in bilingual format.

Information on the MOU (and the informal submissions) is contained in the Presidents Report as this is now under the purview of the national office.

The Gender neutrality review has been completed by Nan Werner and John Curbin and provided to the employer.  To date the unions have not been provided a copy. The employer has scheduled a meeting for March 28th, 2007. The employer has advised us that this report will be provided to the Union as well as the points and levels for the standard.

The Committee is scheduled to make a presentation to the Union at the Presidents Conference on the issues covered at the March 28th meeting.

Unfortunately there is no additional information to provide at this time as a result of the meeting not being held prior to writing this report.
