March Executive Council Report

An informal meeting was held on March 3rd to discuss the delays the employer was experiencing.  The employer confirmed that they would be placing a message on the info zone advising that there were some delays. The employer then requested availability for April so that we could meet and discuss progress to date and what would be transpiring over the next few months.  A meeting has been scheduled for April 5th.

The training for SP101 has been delayed and we expect we will have specific details to provide to the locals and the facilitators after our April meeting. We will go back out to the locals to ensure their facilitators have not changed due to the lengthy delay experienced.

The employer did send the staffing committee the draft job descriptions from the beta testing.  The employer has committed to continuing to send the committee the descriptions for review.

The staffing committee will be meeting in April to establich procedures and parameters for the review of the ACS job descriptions.

An update will be sent out to council and the locals after the April 5th meeting.
