REPORT OF THE POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE

The Committee has not met since my last report. There have been several bulletins issued resulting from the meeting in May/07.

However, as a follow-up to our last meeting in May/07, the Committee met informally during the UTE OSH Conference in August/07 to review the items that needed follow-up. It was decided to review various issues with the National President to see what if anything the Committee should be working on.

There are some issues that may or may not become work of the committee, such as the federal by-elections in Sept/07, the possible federal election and what if anything the Committee should do regarding the collective bargaining process.
