To: Executive Council; Bargaining Committee

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

• Locals must send in demands
by March 31, 2007 at 5pm

• National Bargaining Committee
will meet on May 14 to 18, 2007

At the Standing Bargaining Committee meeting on January 29 and 30, 2007, the Committee members prepared the Program of Demands book. The PSAC is to finalize it, and it will then be sent to the Locals on or around February 24, 2007, along with a UTE bulletin and PSAC cover letter. The Locals will have until March 31, 2007, at 5:00 p.m. to produce new demands. You will receive all the information at the same time as the Locals.

Demands received from the Locals will be translated, sorted and made available for the work of the National Bargaining Committee, as outlined in Regulation 10.3.2, attached.

The National Bargaining Committee will meet on May 14 to 18, 2007. Therefore, we are asking the people chairing the Staffing, Technological Change, Workforce Adjustment, Health and Safety, and Equal Opportunities Committees to be available on those dates. We will confirm the details with you very soon.
