(1) Representation and costs involved
in providing representation at the 3rd level:
(a) shall be the responsibility
of the Regional Vice-President or their Alternate Regional Vice-President
in all cases where the grievor requests union representation; or
(b) where, in the opinion
of the Regional Vice-President, the interest of the grievor are best served
by another person then that person may be appointed to represent the grievor
at the 3rd level with all costs related thereto to be borne by UTE;
(c) notwithstanding the
Regulation, where the Local and/or grievor wishes to appoint their own
representative at the 3rd level representation and where there is written
concurrence with the President, they can provide such representation at
their own cost.
