By-Law 12
TRUSTEESHIP
A Local which has, in the opinion of the Executive Council, not carried
out the responsibilities required by By-Law 7 and By-Law 11 or any other
of these By-Laws shall be considered to be in violation of them. The Executive
Council shall have the authority, by resolution passed by a majority consisting
of two-thirds (2/3) of those eligible to vote, to appoint a trustee with
the responsibility to manage the Local's affairs for a period not exceeding
one hundred eighty (180) days. The trusteeship may be renewed from
time to time by resolution passed by a majority consisting of two-thirds
(2/3) of those eligible to vote for a period not exceeding one hundred
eighty (180) days. Locals shall have the right to appeal as provided
by the regulation regarding Trusteeship.
