Cosimo Crupi
Regional Vice-President
Northern / Eastern Ontario
Cosimo was elected as Alternate Regional Vice-President for Northern and
Eastern Ontario Region in 2002 and was re-elected to the same position
at the 2005 Triennial Convention. When Kent MacDonald left
the CRA, Cosimo as alternate became the RVP in February 2007. He is responsible
for the Peterborough Local, the Belleville Local, the Kingston Local, the
Sudbury Local and the Thunder Bay Local.
Union Involvement
Since 1991, Cosimo has been actively involved with the Union in various
capacities. He was elected Chief Shop Steward of the Thunder Bay Local
in 1993 and then elected as President of the same local in 1997 and has
held this position for 5 terms of office. Cosimo has represented UTE at
a number of PSAC Conventions and Ontario Regional Conventions.
Committees
Cosimo currently is a member of the Finance Committee and the Political
Action Committee (PAC).
Cosimo is currently employed at the Thunder Bay Tax Services Office.
