Bob Campbell

1st National Vice-President

Bob was elected 1st National Vice-President for the Union of Taxation Employees in July 1999 and was re-elected to the same position at the July 2002 and 2005 Triennial Conventions. This position is now a full time paid position in UTE. He is responsible for the Finance portfolio.

Union Involvement

Since 1975, Bob has been actively involved with the union in various capacities. He was the Regional Vice-President for the Atlantic Region from 1992 to 1999, was President of the Saint John local and has held a variety of positions within the Union. He was an area strike coordinator for the strike of 1991.

Committees

Bob is presently Chairperson of the Finance Committee and the Communications Committee. He is a member of the Executive Committee, has chaired the Employee Assistance Program Committee and has sat on the Staffing Committee, the Harassment Committee, the Honours and Awards Committee and the Agency Committee. Bob was also a member of the Regional Bargaining Committee and is an appeal representative

Bob is currently employed at the National Office of the Union of Taxation Employees, Ottawa, Ontario.
