Re: Executive Council Meeting/Presidents’ Conference

The referred meetings will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 101 Lyon Street, Ottawa as follows:

Council Meeting :

Arrive September 14
Meet September 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ballroom "C" Lower level
Meet September 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Meet September 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon
Depart September 20 after 12 noon

Council Members, please send your reports, motions, agenda items, and supporting documentation by no later than Monday, August 24th to Pierrette Labrie at Labriep@ute-sei.org.

Presidents’ Conference :
Arrive Sept. 16
Meet Sept. 17 Regional Caucus in the morning RVP to advise location
Meet 1:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ballroom "A&B" Lower level
Meet Sept.18 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Meet Sept.19 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Depart Sept. 20

Local Presidents, please send your agenda items, *motions and supporting documentation by no later than Wednesday, September 2nd to Pierrette Labrie.

A summary of your items is required. The summary will be transcribed in the minutes as submitted.

Hotel reservations have been made at the Crowne Plaza. For any changes with your reservations, please contact Sister Pierrette Labrie at (613) 235-6704.

**OBSERVERS
Locals who wish to bring observer(s) to the Presidents’ Conference are required to email the name(s) directly to Sister Labrie by Monday, August 10th, 2009. Reservation requests received after this date will be subject to space availability.

An advance cheque will be mailed to you on a separate cover. All other monies owed will be paid at the conference if an expense claim is submitted prior to 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 18th. For claims received after that deadline, a cheque will follow in the mail.

You are reminded that the Presidents’ Conference ends at 5:00 on Saturday. All delegates are required to stay until the official adjournment. Any early departures that are not approved by the President or Vice-President responsible for finance may result in the loss of per diem.

Also please be reminded that all UTE events are scent free.

**Sister Labrie will reply to each reservation received by email to ensure that all observers are registered and that accommodation is made accordingly. Please contact her if you do not receive a reply.
