Some of the benefits of being a PSAC member

Public Service Alliance of Canada members get real value for their union dues. When you sign a PSAC membership card you’ve got one of the country’s largest public sector unions backing you up. To give you even more for your money, the PSAC has negotiated special discounts with outside suppliers.

PSAC Scholarship Program

The PSAC Scholarship Program is offering the following 15 scholarships to PSAC members and their children:

one $4,000 Groulx-PSAC National scholarship;
one $4,000 Coughlin-PSAC National scholarship;
two $3,000 Groulx-PSAC National scholarships;
two $3,000 Coughlin-PSAC National scholarships;
the J.R. (Joe) Power $2,000 Scholarship;
one $1,000 PSAC National Scholarship;
one $1,000 scholarship for each region ( Atlantic , Quebec , National Capital Region, Ontario , Prairies, British Columbia and the North).

Long term service and merit awards

The PSAC offers service awards in recognition to its member officers at any level who have continuously, over a period of ten years or more, served the Alliance membership.

MasterCard Program

The PSAC has an agreement with the Bank of Montreal that provides for improved credit card benefits for its members. This PSAC MasterCard program includes some discounted rates and fees, Master Road Assist, Extended Warranty Insurance, and, Skip Payment Privileges. Car Rentals

Need a car rental? Click here or give AVIS a call and identify yourself as a PSAC member through the union’s Avis Worldwide Discount Number (AWD) C835975. When picking up your rental or making your reservation it is mandatory that you use the above AWD number. This number is the key to accessing the special program and privileges offered by Avis to PSAC members.
